Not too much new going on this week. We’ve had some showers almost every day, so the flowers we planted last week are taking off. We bought some short garden edging to create a little protective fencing around them, and will be adding some mulch this weekend. I will post some new pictures then.
We haven’t done too much on the house this week. We did get rid of a couple more pieces of furniture – a child’s desk and chair that we had in the above garage storage area and the wood garbage bin in our kitchen. The rooms in our house are looking quite spacious.
On Wednesday, my sister and I went for a pedicure and to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch, so that was a nice change. We had a fun day. We need to make time for days like that more often!
Other than that, mainly what I’ve been doing is watching the days tick by and counting down to the beginning of our next trip 
next Tuesday. All of the pictures in the post are from our trip to Lake George last September, and we are looking forward to going back. Although, being June, and vacation season, any pictures of the town will most certainly not have the empty look of the ones I took last year.
