I remember when I was a kid, it was always so much more fun to go over to my cousin’s house and do household chores that I resisted doing at my own house.
I discovered yesterday that this rule still seems to be in effect now that I am older when we headed over to my sister’s house so that Harry could help install the upstairs hallway floor.
Hannah was executive assistant in charge of carrying pieces of wood flooring.
It was so exciting to see the floor coming together.
By late afternoon yesterday about 2/3 of the floor was completed and we headed back this morning to finish the job.
Here is Harry excited to be putting in the last piece!!
Yay! Another project done!!
While the men were working on the floor, my sister and I were talking…and we managed to come up with another project which we put on the schedule for tomorrow. More fun.
The flooring looks very nice. Good Job!
ReplyDeleteHow do you get such a long hallway in a 40' trailer???
ReplyDelete:D
It wasn't easy!! I think it was more good camera work though.
DeleteGreat job on the hallway but ask your sister if she'd like to do the bedrooms as well. Reason is it would be easier dusting the floors than vacuuming the carpets and it keeps Alergens down especially for someone with breathing problems.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck on your surgery tomorrow. Mine is booked for June 19th. I wish it was tomorrow. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
