Three Years

It’s so hard to believe it, but it was three years ago today that we set up in our first fulltime stop at Brookside Campground in Catskill, NY.

Looking back at these pictures, I can still remember the excitement we felt as we had our first fulltime meal that night and toasted to our new future on the road.

It was a really cold January in NY that year, and we had a couple snowstorms to contend with before we could hit the road south on January 17th, 2012 after Harry’s last day at work.

Thinking back on the places we’ve been so far, I have to say that San Antonio still remains way up there on our list of favorite stops. I loved the Riverwalk and definitely want to get back there again sometime.

We also really enjoyed our month long stay in the Keys last January.

Other than the places we’ve been and seen, I think my absolute favorite thing about fulltiming is that it provides us the opportunity to spend a lot more quality time with family.

Looking forward to another year of great memories!

  2. Those years zipped by. I would highly recommend spending some time in Michigan. We did in September. Now one our favorites.
