Harry took Schaun home this afternoon, and our house has returned to its usual quiet. It’s been raining much of the day, and there is a nice coolness to the air coming in the windows.
We now have three days left until our trip to Lake George. We are both looking forward to a break for a few days. So far the weather forecast is looking decent, at least through Monday.
We have used some of our car proceeds to buy a few of the items on our start up list. By the time we are ready to actually hit the road, we should have picked up most of what is on our list. At this point, we only have one major item left – some sort of pressure tire monitoring system. We are planning to buy that next spring before hopefully beginning a season of excursions with the fiver.
So anyway, over the past couple of weeks, we’ve ordered a few things, and one of the items came today – our new Weber Q barbeque! After Harry got home from his trip with Schaun, he got busy opening up the boxes, and…
we are all ready for next week! If it weren’t so late in the season, we would try to sell our existing bbq, but I’m not sure if we will try now, or wait until next spring.
I’m working a few hours again tomorrow, so another busy day coming up. And it’s time to start getting clothes together for the trip. woohoo!!
the count down to your little trip..how exciting!!

A trip in that new fiver - how exciting. Sounds like next by next year you will have all those fun toys to go with it. We also have the WebbyQ and love it.
ReplyDeleteYou will never regret the cost of getting a tire monitoring system. Our Pressure Pro has saved our butts on more than one occasion, the most recently when we left PA last week headed to RI. Would not be without it.
ReplyDeleteHope the weather clears soon for you.
