Washing Off Winter

Location: Jacksonville, FL (High 63, Low 39)

IMG_4214One of the things that tipped us in this campground’s favor was the fact that they allow washing of trucks and rvs. You have to pay a small fee to cover the water use – $5 for the truck and $10 for the rig. Well worth it! So yesterday was truck washing day. The weather was beautiful, and IMG_4218by mid-morning Harry was emptying out the basement to find all his washing implements. Yesterday was the first really nice day we have had here, with the temps nice enough that we could even sit outside for lunch. I like the stone tables that they have here.

Someone else was enjoying the open door and nice sunshine as well!

As you can see, the truck desperately needed a bath!

Looking much nicer. Smile

Bye-bye, NY winter!!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone!!

  1. We find it difficult to find a carwash that is large enough for a dually. So, a campground that allows truck washing is a treat. Yup, that truck could use a good washing. Ours now looks about the same.

  5. Last week we spent a morning washing our Landmark. It didn't take as long as we thought! I love a clean truck and fifth-wheel :).
