Stuff, Stuff, Stuff!!

Where does it all come from? Today I tackled a couple more areas – the hall closet and the basement.

I don’t even know how we crammed all these coats and jackets into the space we had!

And there are still a bunch of coats actually hanging in the closet!

At least we have cleaned out some areas…

the basement (still needs some cleaning up, but most of the stuff is out of here anyway)…

One week from today we have an appointment with the realtor. And only 51 days until our first camping trip!!

  1. You know we take all the "stuff" for granted that we've accumulated over the yrs. Until we start going through it and see just how much "stuff" it is. We have to do a better job at getting rid of stuff.

  2. You might not want to leave your home once you get a lot of the "stuff" cleared out! Just kidding! ;-)
    Good luck on your goals.

  3. Ah yes, the coats :) Between George and I, we have 30 (!) coats, hoodies, jackets, etc. Now that coat season is *almost* over I got rid of all but the hoodies and one winter coat (which we spacebagged). Now to work on George's pile :)

  4. Except for my Ski jacket that I haven't used for six years, I have never had a winter jacket in California. (25+ years) I have a couple of jackets, and two sweaters, but thats all. Last year I got rid of Craig's old dress coat from Wisconsin. It had a layer of dust on the shoulders!

  5. Looks like you guys are getting serious about this full-timing thing! :) I know, we sure collect a lot of "stuff," don't we? Once you hit the road, it is amazing how little you really need and are happy with/without. Carry on - you're doing great!

  7. Just got done with my ridding out and move to a smaller home in PA where my kids live. What a job!! But it sure feels better to have less to do with :) Smaller home, less time cleaning, more time for fun things! I can tell you are so excited to finally be so close to your FT RVing :)
