Today is an absolutely picture perfect day – clear blue sky, nice breeze, warm sun. Nothing more I could ask for – except maybe not having to work for most of it! By the time I got home, it was almost 3 o’clock and I was already ready to sit down and relax for a bit.
Hey, whose bed is this anyway?
Harry was busy while I was at work getting started on preparations for our trip NEXT Saturday. The pressure pro sensors are all in place on the fiver tires, tire pressure is checked, tanks are checked. He also secured the tv equipment so it can’t slide around while we are in motion, and used “The Solution” on the front cap. He was a busy beaver!
We also did some research on our trip route for next week, and Harry checked out all the roads and turns so we know where we’re going.
I forgot to mention my other purchase from the other night. One of our goals when we are on the road is to use our bikes a lot more – for exploring and exercise, as well as short trips to local stores when the need may arise. I found a grocery pannier at Land’s End which looks like it will be perfect! I was so excited with our find.
Tomorrow – hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will be going on our first hike of the season!
I like the pannier for your bike :) That will come in handy.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a beautiful day like today, for your hike. We were in your area today at our grandsons b'day party at Bethlehems town park. It was such a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteI can feel your excitement for your first trip this year, I hope you have just as nice weather.
First trip of the year....first adventure! Have a wonderful, safe time....
ReplyDeletePlanning for a trip is half the fun.
ReplyDeleteIt was perfect weather in Eastern Washington too. Looks like we may have another one today. I hope you have a good Mom's day!
