The first two work days of this week are now history, and we are excitedly making preparations for our trip south this weekend! Do you know how many different kinds of rv checklists there are online? Just for the record, there are a lot! I have run off several, some overlapping, just on the off chance that one might mention a detail not included on the other!
When I came home this afternoon from work, Harry was making a pile with our recent purchases, our bag chairs, and some “just in case” tools that he wants to throw in – just in case.
Tomorrow I am going to start filling another container with kitchen items that I want to bring, and getting some ideas for meals so that we have a plan for what we need to pick up when we get down there.
There is so much to think about, and so much to remember! I am very glad that we are doing this now, and that we will have the chance to get out and use our fiver before we are ready to hit the road full-time. One learning experience and transition at a time is enough for me, I think! (and I suspect Harry agrees with me! )
Having some time before you go full time is a great idea. It really helped us, so much to learn, better to learn some of it close to home.
