I headed to work bright and early this morning and it was a great kind of work day – no problems, but busy and went by super fast!
After heading home and changing my clothes, we did the last “look through” of the house, and hit the road right on schedule at 2 pm.
As you can see by the picture, it is a gorgeous day, and we are heading for West Virginia, which is where we will be stopping tonight.
We have the cab of our truck completely filled with all of our supplies. They fit very well, but I don’t think we could have brought many more things along with us. I am glad that we started packing the truck last night because today went so smoothly.
Harry is all ready to navigate his way along the highways and byways to Tennessee!
I really started to get excited as the work day started to wind down this morning. We are on the way to pick up our future home! Woohoo!!!
How exciting! Can't wait to see pictures of the new home!
ReplyDeleteYou must be traveling down 81. If you need a place to stay for the night on the way back, we stayed at Lee Hi travel park in Lexington in Va. Easy in and out. Then of course we've stayed at the WalMart in Wytheville several times. Niece works there!
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if they will mention this when you do your walkthru but be sure and secure something between the backs of your recliners for travel. Ours rubbed together, even though they were strapped down!
