One Year!

Today is the day that we are exactly one year from that magic day that Harry becomes eligible for retirement! Otherwise known as Harry’s 54th birthday! Open-mouthed smile We had planned to go out to dinner tonight for our celebration, but unfortunately Harry has been fighting a cold/sore throat/cough for the past week and is still not feeling that great. So we may be laying low, and celebrating on the weekend instead.

IMG_1459Of course, I had a great weekend!

Super Bowl Champs!!!

I had a great, although sometimes nerve wracking, time watching the game Sunday night.

Of course, then on Monday, I had to trudge off bright and early to work to join all the other sleep deprived people for a fun 9 hours. After two subsequent early nights to bed, I am now feeling back to normal! I am one of those people who needs a solid night’s sleep to function well.

IMG_1453We had a great productive weekend. Harry did an awesome job on the bathroom floor! We just need to touch up some areas with paint, especially painting the closet. Then we can put this room back together.

Ariel did a good job overseeing the project.

Our weather has been staying the course. At the moment, we have had the least snowiest winter by two tenths of an inch, with 13.6 inches so far this year. But our weatherman assures us that there is plenty of time left in the winter snow season, with most of Feb. and March still ahead. I’m pulling for a record!

  1. Happy birthday to Harry, one more year, woohoo!! Your countdown is getting closer. I'm with you on the snow totals. We've only had 5.6" since 11/1. Supposed to get a dusting-1" today, and then frigid for the weekend. I'll take it!

  3. "Happy Birthday Harry!"

The weather here is cooling down for the weekend so maybe delay the celebration until next Wednesday when its supposed to start warming again.

You guys are doing a great job of repaires and cleaning, so keep it up and that year will fly by. It did for us.

    It's about time.
