We had a wonderful weekend of beautiful weather (other than starting out a little cold) and picture taking. There’s too much to cover in one entry so I will start with our trip back home today. (You can enlarge any of the pictures by clicking on them.)
We left this morning around 11 am with a stop planned in Keene Valley.
The Noon Mark Diner is a staple in the Adirondacks, and is a great place to stop if you are traveling north.
It is always busy, but we lucked out and got there just as a table was opening up. After that, a lot of people started making their way in for lunch, and in only a few minutes, even all the stools at the counter were filled.
Keene Valley is a quaint little town, and right now the colors are quite lovely.
There was some beautiful foliage after we got on the highway as well, but unfortunately it’s not so easy to take really good pictures when you are traveling at highway speed.
This was my best one from today; it just has some shadow from the car window.
This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend,
but there are many more to come.
It looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
