Baby, It’s Cold Outside!

Brrrr….I don’t think it’s any record, but it is cold!

Today we reached a high of 20 degrees, and our low tonight is supposed to be in the single digits. It’s not anything we don’t see every winter, but it seems really early for it. So much for my thought of a warm winter, with extra pellets left over to start next year’s season.

I had the day off today, and really got a lot accomplished. Lots of laundry, a new recipe for dinner, and starting to organize up in the guest room now that we have the closets finished. No pictures yet, because we still have some stuff to put up on the walls, and furniture to move around the room. I hope to have it finished up by the end of the weekend.

This afternoon, I picked up Harry from work and we headed over to the tile place.

Wow, so many choices! We were on overload!

We finally narrowed it down to our choice.

The top tile on the right will be the main tile, in a diamond pattern. We are going to use the tile on the bottom as an accent tile. Phew! Last decision for the kitchen. Now we just have to wait for February.
