Yesterday was so much fun!! We headed out first thing after breakfast for Boston.
When we arrived at Seaport, we were happy to find out that they could check us in early. So we brought all of our stuff to our room, and then headed for the show. There were just a few people there ahead of us.
How would you like to travel with this little guy?
Even though we’ve been planning for probably a year now on our rig of choice being a Nuwa, I really tried to go in to the show with an open mind, and guess what? We found another possible contender. This Heartland Bighorn really caught our eye.
One of the things I love most about this rig…the shower!!
I also really liked the laminate flooring they use.
So we shall see….more research to come, I’m sure!
After the show we headed over to our hotel room. We have a great view of the harbor.
We headed online to check out more info about Heartland. And then it was time for dinner. We didn’t feel like driving, so we bundled up and headed outside to see what we could find.
Do you think we’re going to find a restaurant down here?
Here it is – the No Name Restaurant…
We started off with a great bowl of fish chowder…
and then lots more food arrived!!
and then it was back into the gloomy, wet night to slip slide our way back to the hotel, and an early bedtime after a busy day!
We had an awesome day! Right now we are still relaxing in the hotel. But shortly we will be grabbing a quick bite, and then it will be time to head home to continue our dreaming and planning…
It’s always fun to take a look at the shiny new RVs. We see lots and lots of the “Bighorn” model on the road, so they must be doing something right. Your dinner sure looked good too!

The Bighorn looked very nice. We also considered the size of the shower very important when we went full-time. That looks like a great shower. Will be interesting to see which RV you end up in!
ReplyDeleteJust when you thought you'd made up your mind, darn if more fivers get in the vision! I guess we both know 'we'll know when it's right!'
ReplyDeleteDid you get to see Howard & Linda?
Yes, we did meet Howard and Linda! Which was very cool. We went to their 2 o'clock seminar; they did a great job. :) Unfortunately no pictures - can you imagine, no one else had their camera out - so I succumbed to peer pressure!! LOL
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to attend one of Howard and Linda's seminars. It's fun going to rv shows and looking at all the different rigs. I don't think it hurts to look at a lot of them before your big purchase.
ReplyDeleteI love going to the RV show (we have one coming up this weekend) just to get ideas on how to decorate and change things (I like to change things alot!).
ReplyDeleteAnd the neat gadgets that they come up with.
That little trailer would be perfect for a hunter or fisher that didn't need the bells and whistles of a regular trailer!
Cheers!
Glad you had such good fun at the show... Meeting Linda & Howard and going to thier seminar what a bonus! We bought our coach 6 years ago and we are often tempted by the newer ones BUT do not trade. We feel it's better to update what you have and use the money for traveling... So my point is take time, reshearch and pick out one you'll be happy with for a long time.

Boston is fun! The chowder looked great. I too, like the Bighorn. It is great that you have an opinion at this point, whereas we are still going back and forth between a motorhome and a 5'er.
ReplyDeleteHappy trails,
Deborah
just when you thought you had made your decision..another 'fiver' comes into the picture and says 'pick me'!!..you still have plenty of time to decide...and lots of time to do some research!
ReplyDeleteIf you want a great dealer for Heartland, check out http://www.rvsforless.net/
ReplyDeleteI worked with them in 2006 when I thought I was going to get a Heartland Cyclone toy hauler.
Great folks and probably the lowest prices anywhere.
Rick and Paulette have one - its is quite nice. Both our units are very similar so the 'boys' were doing lots of comparisons. We are tickled lately with or 'polar pak' option on our Eagle 5th. Those rv shows are fun! Good for you.
ReplyDeleteWe have friends who have the Bighorn. They love it.
ReplyDeleteWe just KNEW we wanted a Montana. Yup, two months after we bought it we went to the Atlantic City RV Show and saw a Cedar Creek we liked more. FOR LESS MONEY!
So - keep on looking. You just never know!
Saw this today and thought of you guys:
