We’ve had a small break in our work on the upstairs room. I say “our work” but I haven’t really done too much of it. Harry has done a lot of the work on Saturday mornings when I have been AT work. There have been a few weeks since anything’s been accomplished in there, but the cooler weather this weekend has inspired us to get back at it. Yesterday’s project – starting to pull up the carpet so that the laminate flooring can be installed.

After this room, there is only one room left in the house that has carpet still. It is the downstairs guest room. We have the flooring already – it is still sitting out in the garage because it was just too hot last weekend to start bringing it into the house. With the weather being a little nice today, I think that is probably back on the to-do list. Also, Harry is going to pull up the rest of the carpet, while I start taping the upstairs hallway and getting it ready to prime.
We were going to try for a bike ride but we have the “work on the house” bug at the moment so we’d better take advantage of it!
