Well, we’re sort of on our way, even though we went three hours in the wrong direction today.
We hit the road right on schedule around 8 am. It was a beautiful day, just a little hazy.
When we went through the Berkshires, we were surprised to see that there was still ice that hadn’t melted yet.
As we were traveling along, there was more traffic on the road with us than we expected…
…until we remembered that the Red Sox were playing in Boston today! We were very happy that we weren’t going all the way into Boston.
The birthday boy was all excited to see so much company, but both Papa and Grammy managed to snag a hug or two!

Somebody is very tired, but determined to keep playing with his new train.
We are also kind of tired, and are in the hotel now relaxing for the evening. Tomorrow morning we head for W. Virginia!
