So once we were there, I amused myself by taking lots of pictures while Harry chose his pieces of wood with care…

…and consulted his list to make sure he wasn’t forgetting something.
Once home, we unloaded the wood into the garage.
This is the shelving unit that Harry made last year…
and this is the area where a new shelf will be going this weekend…
and the rest of this mess is why I am glad that we have 7 years before we are moving out of this house!! :)

Seeing your pictures remind me of one of those home shows on TLC or HGTV - now for the 'after' pictures!
ReplyDeleteIt is never too early to start getting the house ready and things sorted and purged. Those shelves will really help with storage and increase value as well.

ReplyDeleteMike and Gerri - It's amazing how I can feel such a sense of accomplishment with getting stuff cleared out of here, and it feels so freeing - even though we have several years left. We actually have a rough timetable in place for the last year already! :)
Merikay - I said the same thing to my sister yesterday - although before I met Harry I had survived without a truck for many years!! :)
