Appointment Day

One thing about having Wednesdays off is that I tend to make all of my appointments for that day of the week. But since I don't want to have to go somewhere every single week on my day off, I tend to make more than one appointment for the same day. If I already have something scheduled for the second Wed. of the month, if something else comes up, I'll make it for the same one, so the rest that month are free. Sooo....as a result of that practice, much of my morning today will be taken up by my two appointments. I'll have to leave pretty much at my normal time to make the first at 8:15, and then depending on how long that one goes, I may have an hour or a little more before I have to head to #2 at 11:00. So there goes my morning. In between I have to stop at the grocery store to pick up the fixin's for chili, because I have an old friend coming for dinner. Ha! She probably wouldn't appreciate being called an "old" friend, but she's about the only person I have in that category, as I've known her for about 15 years. She lives not too far away, but like everyone else, she has a busy life, so this is the first time we've gotten together in months, maybe since we got together in January to celebrate Christmas. Time to catch up! :)

It is still cool out this morning. I just went and checked the thermometer, and its about 46 or 48 again. Which is cool - for this time of year. Now, if this were March, and that was the HIGH of the day instead of the low, we'd be saying, woo-hooo, and putting on our shorts after a long winter of cold weather. LOL Just goes to show that everything depends on your perspective!!
